The following are the guidelines and deadlines for the ad submission process:
1. Your camera-ready ad is due by Monday, October 5, 2012 (earlier is always appreciated!). Ads should be submitted in one of the following formats: MS Word (DOC or DOCX), Word Perfect (WPD), or Microsoft Publisher (PUB) formats, or as a TIF, GIF, JPG or other universal graphics file.
Please do NOT submit ads in PDF. If you want to submit your ad in a format not listed above, please call Patti Kratzke at (206) 659-7755, or send her an e-mail at the above-noted address.
2. Email the ad file as an attachment to Patti Kratzke at pkconsulting@juno.com. Please provide the phone number and email address of a contact person(s) who can make decisions regarding the ad. Please be sure the ad looks exactly as you wish it to appear. Although we love our sponsors dearly, PWC is not able to provide ad development or editing services.
3. If you are not able to meet the October 5th deadline, please contact Patti as soon as possible at (206) 659-7755, or pkconsulting@juno.com.
4. If you wish to upgrade your ad to a larger size, you can still do so by October 5th by sending in a sponsorship payment for the difference between your original ad and the upgraded size, or using the PayPal option at www.pwc.org, and then submitting the upgrade-sized ad to Patti, again by October 5th .
5. The ads in the directory will appear in the following approximate sizes:
- $350 Sponsorship Level: Full Page: 7¼ inches high by 4½ inches wide.
- $250 Sponsorship Level: One-Half Page: 3½ inches high by 4½ inches wide
- $150 Sponsorship Level: One-Third Page (business card size): 2 inches high by 3½ inches wide
Electronic ad files emailed to Patti can be larger than the above sizes, but will be reduced to the above sizes for printing. Prior to submission, please “preview” your ad with the final print size in mind, to make sure that fonts are large enough to be read, etc.
6. Photographs and grey tones may be used. Colors will be reproduced in grey tones.
7. Please also be sure all ads are proof-read for accurate spelling, phone numbers, and other important information.
8. Every effort is made to ensure that ads are reproduced in high-quality print. The quality of the original file, however, will dictate the ultimate quality of printed ad. (Hint: Scanned business cards do not usually turn out well!)
